How do I detach a document?

This support article is intended to guide you through detaching a document from GoPublish.

1. From the GoPublish planning palette select the document you wish to detach.

2. Right/CTRL click on the document to bring up the contextual menu. Select Document and then Open Detached Copy.

3. After selecting this option GoPublish will ask you to choose a save location for the detached document.

A copy of the GoPublish document will now be saved to this location. All the GoPublish tracking data is removed so that the document can be used in a non-GoPublish environment.

Note: Any work done to this document will not be reflected within GoPublish. The document this copy is detached from remains the current GoPublish version.
